DJ Khaled Announces “Father Of Asahd” Is Dropping In May

DJ Khaled announced his new album Father Of Asahd last year and now he’s zeroing in on a May 2019 release date. He recently had a meeting with Epic Records executives and releases clips of his speech to the public where he stated

“Just a quick recap. All of this is on one album. Every day counts. Every second counts. The clock is on. I wanna unload on em. I wanna unload all, whoomp. I’m going to be like “anyone act up I’m going to let it all go.” I want to fuck the game up. I don’t want to say I’m the greatest because I’ve got too much respect for the ones that came before me, but I’ll tell you right now as a hitmaker, as an executive, as a music man, as a DJ, as a producer, as a father, as a mogul, as an author, as an actor, as a friend, I’m one of the motherfucking greatest. I’m a guy who only wants to make hits. When I roll this album out I’m going to let people know it’s time to hear the hits again. Y’all been oversaturated with so much music that y’all forgot what hits are. There’s a lot of good shit, and maybe a handful of great shit.”

Epic Records’ Sylvia Rhone added:

“Every single track. This is the best album you’ve ever made.”

Father Of Asahd will feature guest appearances by Chris Brown, Cardi B, Travis Scott, Big Sean, Post Malone, and more.

In other news, Khaled will also be playing a role in upcoming movies Bad Boys For Life film starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.
