Lil Uzi Vert Signs Management Deal With Roc Nation

Lil Uzi Vert has been having some label issues while trying to release his awaited album Eternal Atake. With a new management deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation, the project may see the light of day soon.

The were rumors from different sources that Uzi was actively looking for new management after the “drama” with his old management DJ Drama and Don Cannon’s label Generation Now. He took tp his Twitter account to thank Roc Nation after inking the deal. He also gave fans hints that he was back in the studio.

Last week the Uzi’s issues boiled over when his verse was missing from NAV’s Bad Habits, they had a collab called “Habits” that was meant to appear on the project. Nav spoke about the verse now being cleared:

“I know y’all wanted “Habits” on the album. I had an open verse for the longest and Uzi blessed us with one. Unfortunately DJ Drama and Don Cannon won’t clear his verse legally. I used to be a big fan of them since Gangsta Grillz mixtapes and always thought they support new artists. I guess it’s all about the $$$$ for them now! It’s crazy but it’s true.”

DJ Drama has since responded to the allegations saying the verse wasn’t up to par withtheir standards and that Uzi had his blessing to drop his new album:

“Uzi should put EA out tomorrow or any day he wants. He has me and Cannon’s total support and blessings to drop it!”

DJ Drama and his new artist Jack Harlow poked fun at the Drama with a sarcastic post of the two on Instagram with the caption:

“Just signed my soul away….double tap if you can’t wait for eternal atake. 🙈”

DJ Drama jokingly commented:

“Don’t make me fuck ur career up too.”

Check out the receipts from issues below and look for Uzi’s new album Eternal Atake to be released soon
