Dreamville’s Collaboration Album Scores Number 1 Debut
Score one for the dreamers, and J. Cole. The rapper/producer’s hip-hop compilation album Revenge of the Dreamers III debuts this week in the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 all-genre albums chart.
The 18-track project moved 115,000 equivalent album units in the week ending July 11, according to Nielsen Music figures reported by Billboard. Of those, 23,000 were physical album sales.

Revenge of the Dreamers III features tracks recorded by artists from J. Cole’s Dreamville label, including Bas, Cozz, EARTHGANG, J.I.D., Ari Lennox, Lute and Omen, as well as guest spots from T.I., Ty Dolla $ign, DaBaby and more. Cole’s featured on seven of the tracks, including, of course, his top-five hit from earlier this year, “Middle Child.”
Hey guess what. Dreamville got the #1 album in the country 😁. Woke up realizing what a moment this is for our label and for all the people that can say they are apart of their first number 1. Blessed for real.

Revenge of the Dreamers III by far is the most successful of Cole’s label trilogy. 2015’s Revenge of the Dreamers II peaked at #29 on the Billboard 200, while the original Revenge of the Dreamers mixtape the year before that didn’t chart at all.
